Congratulations on choosing to learn to swim as an adult. We understand that this is a big step for you, and are going to make every effort to help you achieve your goal of becoming a better swimmer.

Whatever your reason for wanting to improve your swimming, we will work with you. If you have a fear of water, we will try and overcome it with you. If you want to get a bit stronger in the water, so that you can swim easier for longer distances, we can help you with that also. We will teach you from whatever level you are currently at and look forwards to helping you to achieve your swimming goal.

Be Consistent!

Consistency is key in learning to swim - even for adults. A once a week lesson is not a lot of time to spend learning in the water, so it is important to endeavour to not miss any classes, and to commit for a reasonable period of time - at least 6 months - to actually make some significant improvements in your swimming.

How Long Will I be in Lessons?
This is very dependent on you. If you are prepared to do the work, and to practice, then within 12 months, starting from a low base (ie: a beginner) it is possible that you will be able to swim for fitness within the year. You will get out what you put in, we are here to help you achieve whatever level of swimming you have your sights set on.
